How often your TiVo media device connects to the TiVo service?

Your TiVo media device automatically connects to your TiVo service at a randomly selected time, every 24 to 48 hours, to download information for your Electronic Program Guide.
If the connection doesn't work - your TiVo media device will try again in 24 hours.
*Please note: Your TiVo media device connects to the TiVo service every 15 minutes via your broadband connection to check for remotely scheduled programs. During these checks, your TiVo media device does not download any program guide data. It only checks for new programs to record.
